Not only does the center capture incredible new information about the world beyond our atmosphere, but it is also responsible for managing communications between mission control and orbiting astronauts on the International Space Station. Research of this complexity is no small feat, and Goddard has selected Jama as the tool to help with their requirements management process. In 2018, the James Webb Space Telescope is scheduled to launch on a European Ariane 5 rocket. Once deployed, the telescope will provide a glimpse into the history of the universe. For now, team members at the Goddard are preparing for critical tests to ensure the Webb will be able to accomplish its mission while managing more than 50 spacecraft throughout the solar system. We’re excited to be part of Goddard’s ongoing work unlocking new and exciting knowledge about the world and universe we live in. Learn more about how we’re helping SpaceX achieve better collaboration in their mission to revolutionize space travel here.
