Jama Connect Model Context Protocol (MCP) acts as a structured AI integration layer that allows your development tools, IDEs, and AI assistants to safely engage data in Jama Connect.

In this consultation, a Jama Software Consultant will provide an overview of Jama Connect MCP, giving your team a clear understanding by reviewing common use cases. You’ll collaborate with the consultant to identify specific, applicable use cases for your team and the consultant will provide AI prompt recommendations and guidance for governing MCP usage.

What You Will Receive

• MCP Overview: An overview with common use cases to help familiarize your team with Jama Connect MCP and inspire use cases for your organization.
• Use Case Identification & Prompt Recommendations: Assistance identifying up to two use cases relevant to your team, with tailored prompt recommendations to support effective use of Jama Connect MCP.
• Governance and Procedure Recommendations: Recommendations for establishing guardrails, usage standards, and internal procedures.

Prerequisite

Prior to your working sessions with a consultant, please complete the MCP setup. Contact Jama Software Support for any issues experienced during setup.

Assumptions

• Customer must have an active Jama Connect MCP subscription.
• Customer is responsible for providing and managing their own MCP-compatible client and LLM provider.
• Sessions are conducted remotely.
• Prompt recommendations will be provided for up to two use cases identified collaboratively.
