Jama Software Appoints Industry Veterans to Board of Directors

Portland, Ore., August 28, 2018 – Jama Software, the leading product development platform provider for building complex products and integrated systems, today announced that three technology industry veterans, Richard Wells, Shelley Perry and Jon Lauck, have joined its board of directors. These new appointments expand leadership, technology and organizational expertise on the company’s board as it launches into the next phase of growth.

Wells, Managing Director at Insight Venture Partners, has over 18 years of experience in investing and advising managers of high growth software and Internet companies. At Insight he focuses on investments in infrastructure software and SaaS companies. Prior to Insight, he worked in product management for enterprise data protection products at Veritas Software, now part of Symantec, and in field sales for Paciolan Systems, now part of Ticketmaster.

Perry, Venture Partner at Insight Venture Partners, is a technology evangelist, innovator, product strategist and C-level advisor with over 20 years of experience growing IaaS and SaaS organizations, across both start-up and public companies. Prior to Insight, she served as the Chief Product Officer, Cloud with Dimension Data, an NTT Group Company; Chief Development Officer at NTT Innovation Institute; CTO of Industry SaaS Solutions at HP; and, Vice President of Engineering at Ticketmaster.

Lauck, an Independent Advisor, brings more than 30 years of experience in Product Lifestyle Management, DevOps and Testing as executive chairman and COO of innovative companies including PTC and iTKO. He is currently Executive Chairman of Worksoft and has held a wide range of executive management positions at Oracle, Chatham Technologies (acquired by Flextronics Corporation) and Fuego (acquired by BEA), where he was Chief Executive Officer.

The three new board members join Scott Roth and Tim Porter, Managing Director at Madrona Venture Group, on Jama Software’s board. At Madrona, Porter focuses on intelligent applications and SaaS, cloud native software, ML and data analytics.  He has worked with Jama for the last five years.
