On December 4, 2014 Jama was recognized by the Portland Business Journal as being one of Oregon’s Most Admired Companies. For the past 10 years, the PBJ has surveyed 2,600 CEOs annually across Oregon to select the companies they most admire in our region. The CEOs are asked to select three companies in order of priority that they most admire in eight different industries: Agriculture and Forest Products, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Services, Health Care, Manufacturing, Nonprofit, Professional Services, Technology and a category called ‘across all industries.’ Each category had a list of at least 160 nominations and those making it to the top stood out for their branding, engagement, and commitment to employees and the community.
Jama is honored to have been named #8 on the most admired companies within Technology. A top company goal is to be the most desirable tech company to work for in the northwest so this award is validation that our intention is being recognized. We are incredibly proud of our team, especially their passion for innovation and results that they have consistently delivered since we opened for business in 2007.
We are also proud to see many of our local partners and customers included within this list. Three of our key partners for our new downtown Portland office all made the top 10 within the Commercial Real Estate category: Melvin Mark (our new landlord) at #3, Cresa/JLL (our real estate broker) at #4, and R&H Construction (our contractor) at #7.
Thank you to the Portland Business Journal, the nominating CEOs, our local community and especially our team for this honor.
