David is an industry veteran in Digital Transformation with a background spans both industry and software. He is currently the Principal Solution Architect for A&D at Jama. Mr. Ewing is passionate about helping firms utilize their data and digital capabilities to deliver products and services effectively. This includes co-authoring a university textbook and industry guide (essentialsofpdm.com), guest lecturing, and supporting the architecture of the Digital Testbed at Purdue University. David received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and his Master of Business Administration from The Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. He is a certified Configuration Management Professional (CM2-P), Project Management Professional (PMP) and certified in Six Sigma DMAIC and DFSS disciplines. While at Aras he held roles in Product Management, Product Marketing, and Sales helping to make Aras Innovator a globally recognized PLM platform. He has over 15 years of experience implementing PLM in the industrial and aerospace industries with roles at Cummins, B/E Aerospace, and General Electric.
