Jama adds enterprise leaders to executive team

Ian Miller joins Jama Software as VP of Sales

Today we’re announcing some exciting new additions to the Jama Software leadership team. Chris Cook of New Relic joins the board of directors. Ian Miller, most recently President of Workday Asia Pacific, has been named the Jama VP of Worldwide Sales.

Cook served as President and Chief Operating Officer New Relic, a SaaS web application performance management provider, for four years. He has more than twenty years experience in technology, with deep expertise in execution and organizational effectiveness.

Miller brings decades of experience in technology sales, marketing and customer success. A native of the U.K., he has a track record of success in the Portland metro area, being instrumental in successful growth and exits at both PolyServe Software (acquired by HP) and Platform Computing (acquired by IBM). Prior to Workday, Miller was CEO at FatCloud and ran sales organizations at IBM and Cray.

Miller joins Jama as the company scales to meet demand for a system of record and action for modern product development; as more organizations recognize the business imperative of getting to market faster, they seek solutions to slash the complexities of modern development.

Jama has expanded its footprint in the enterprise, with 46 of the Fortune 500, including companies such as Samsung and the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center. Jama Software reached a number of key milestones this year, securing $20 million in venture funding in March, relocating its global headquarters to downtown Portland, growing headcount by 21 percent and expanding operations in Europe. Jama recently announced a strategic alliance with Deloitte Consulting, in which Deloitte selected Jama’s collaborative requirements and test management tool as a critical component of its integrated toolset for end-to-end traceability.
