Eric Winquist, Chief Executive Officer, Co-founder

In March 2006, Eric founded Jama Software with the vision of providing customers a more collaborative way to develop new products and eliminate the common frustrations with traditional approaches to requirements management. Eric is an accomplished entrepreneur and project manager with over 15 years experience working with a wide range of enterprise organizations, teams and technologies. In 2001, Eric founded Redside Solutions, a software development consulting firm. As CEO, Eric grew Redside to a multi-million dollar business with 100% annual growth rates. At Redside, Eric saw first-hand the need companies had for collaborative requirements management which led to the creation of Jama Software and the development of Jama Contour.

Lori Schmall, Vice President of Services

Lori is an accomplished executive with over 20 years experience managing large-scale development projects and services organizations, with a proven track record of delivering customer satisfaction and growth. Recognized as a creative problem solver, strong communicator and team leader, Lori has joined Jama Software to manage our professional services and support organization focused on delighting our customers. Prior to Jama, Lori was the COO of Grist.org, a non-profit environmental news and multimedia organization. Her previous work experience includes management roles in custom application development, project management, systems design and business process improvement for Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS), Salomon Brothers and as a consultant managing teams through organizational change.

Christian Prusia, Vice President of Sales

Christian is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 15 years of start-up experience that spans from semiconductors to software. Christian has joined Jama Software to lead our sales efforts. Prior to Jama, Christian held positions in product management, corporate development, sales and senior management at technology companies such as M-Six, Enuclia, Pixelworks and InFocus. In each of his roles, he is best known for his constant curiosity and collaboration with customers. Christian has amassed extensive sales experience within the US, Asia and Europe and has a proven ability to foster long-standing channel and customer relationships across Fortune 100 companies through to nimble start-ups.

Christian is an avid fly-fisherman. When not sharing ideas with customers, you'll likely find him somewhere in central Oregon hip-high in water. He is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound and holds an MBA from the Atkinson School of Management at Willamette University. He lives with his wife and two kids in Portland. John Simpson, Vice President of Marketing

At Jama, John represents the voice of our customers and leads our marketing strategy, generating awareness and demand for our products. Prior to Jama, John was Director of Marketing at Omniture and brings 16 years of experience developing brands, customer stories and managing interactive marketing programs for technology companies including Microsoft, WebTrends and ZAAZ. He has contributed to several articles, books, whitepapers and presentations on marketing, Web technology and product innovation.

John is an avid runner and fundraiser for cancer research supporting Komen for the Cure and the Lance Armstrong Foundation through his grassroots campaign 5K35. Keith Johnson, Vice President of Product Solutions

Keith is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in the software industry, including three Fortune 500 companies. He has a proven track record of growing successful software organizations delivering high quality products, and experience leading acquisitions for company growth. Keith describes himself as a "Project Manager at heart," and he knows the importance of team collaboration and sound requirements for project success. Prior to joining Jama, Keith has experience in both the public and private sectors, working in the healthcare and automotive industries, as well as state and local government.

Frank Charron, Software Development Director

Frank leads the development team at Jama Software. Frank's experience in software development spans nearly 20 years. Prior to Jama, he worked at K12, Cigital (formerly known as Reliable Software Technologies) and BDM.

Frank holds an M.S. in Operations Research from The George Washington University and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Virginia. When not writing code, Frank is an avid cyclist in and around Portland.

Sean Tong, Chief Architect, Co-founder

Sean is the chief architect of Contour and an experienced developer of sophisticated Web 2.0 technologies built on open standards. Sean brings over 12 years of software engineering experience, including prior start-up experience with Hubat, a search technology company.

Sean has a masters degree in computer science from Tsinghua University in Beijing, as well as a Masters of computational linguistics from Carnegie Mellon University. He lives with his wife and two kids in Portland.

Derwyn Harris, Solutions Architect, Co-founder

Derwyn brings 12 years of software engineering and management experience to Jama with significant experience delivering enterprise-scale software applications. He is a frequent speaker on technology topics at conferences such as the Ajax Experience. Derwyn blends deep technical knowledge with strong customer service and support skills to ensure a successful user experience for our customers.
