Eric Winquist, Chief Executive Officer at Jama
In March 2006, Eric founded Jama Software with the vision of providing customers a more collaborative way to develop new products and eliminate the common frustrations with traditional approaches to requirements management. Eric is an accomplished entrepreneur and project manager with over 15 years experience working with a wide range of enterprise organizations, teams and technologies. In 2001, Eric founded Redside Solutions, a software development consulting firm. As CEO, Eric grew Redside to a multi-million dollar business with 100% annual growth rates. At Redside, Eric saw first-hand the need companies had for collaborative requirements management which led to the creation of Jama Software and the development of Jama Contour.
Eric is a graduate of Oregon State University. He lives with his wife and two kids in Portland.

Matt Compton, Chief Executive Office at ShopIgniter, OAF
Matt joined Jama Software's board as a member of the Oregon Angel Fund (OAF). Matt is the CEO of ShopIgniter and oversees the company's strategy, manages operations and continually seeks eCommerce innovation for ShopIgniter customers.
Prior to ShopIgniter, Matt was a venture partner at Madrona Ventures, an early stage technology venture investor. Before joining Madrona, Matt held several roles at Yahoo, most recently VP Media and Strategic Partnerships. Before Yahoo, he was a founding partner of M2 Consulting, a product marketing consulting firm, and CEO & co-founder of a local portal company. Matt has a BA degree, cum laude, in Economics and International Relations from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Drew Smith, Tripwire, OAF
Drew joined Jama Software's board as a member of the Oregon Angel Fund (OAF). In addition to OAF, Drew is an active investor and consultant to early stage companies, as well as head of corporate development at Tripwire, Inc., an emerging leader in security software.
Drew has extensive experience in venture capital investing, mergers and strategic consulting. He was with Intel for 12 years, most of it with Intel Capital, where he led investments in over 20 companies, supported M&A efforts and oversaw corporate development strategy for several divisions. Drew's experience spans multiple industry sectors, from Internet software and services, to communication systems and components, to notebook subsystems such as batteries and displays.
Prior to Intel, Drew was with McKinsey & Company, where he focused on corporate, marketing and sales strategy for a range of industrial clients. Drew holds an MBA, summa cum laude, from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BS in Applied Mathematics from Brown University.

Dave Hersh, Chairman of the Board at Jive Software, Advisor
As Chairman of the Board at Jive Software, Dave Hersh is responsible for advising the company's growth strategy and overall direction.
Previously, Dave was the CEO of Jive Software. In that role, his vision and leadership grew the company from its inception as a small open source project with no revenue to become the leader of the Social Business Software industry. Prior to Jive, Hersh held the roles of CFO and product strategist at 4charity, and was a management consultant focused on strategy and change management for VIA International in Chicago and London.
Dave has gained a reputation for his deep industry knowledge of collaboration, knowledge management and open source, and he is frequently tapped to present at industry events and serve as a media reference.
