Installation / Upgrade Consultation 

This Consultation is a highly recommended, no-cost offering for any self-hosted customer planning to install or upgrade Jama Connect. In this 30-minute session, we review your environment, confirm requirements, identify risks, and outline the appropriate installation or upgrade path. Additionally, if you need professional assistance, we will recommend services as described below to assist with your installation or upgrade.

Installation Services*:

Our Installation Services provided guided, remote assistance to help your administrators successfully install Jama Connect. We guide your team through:

  • Preparing the environment and confirming prerequisites**
  • Downloading required components
  • Executing the installation steps
  • Verifying that the system is accessible and functioning.

Scope: Installation services are scoped at 1 credit for 1 Production and/or 1 non-production installation of Jama Connect.

Upgrade Services*:

Our Upgrade Services provide guided, remote assistance to help your administrators upgrade an existing Jama Connect environment to the latest on-premises version of Jama Connect. We guide your team through:

  • Confirming prerequisites** and reviewing the upgrade path
  • Downloading required upgrade components
  • Executing the upgrade steps
  • Verifying that the system is accessible and functioning after the upgrade.

Scope: Upgrade services are scoped during the Upgrade Consultation described above. Upgrade services are, at a minimum, 1 credit but may require additional credits based on upgrade path and complexity.

Weekend Installation and Upgrade Services*:

Weekend Installation and Upgrade Services are available for two credits. These credits are in addition to Installation or Upgrade credits described above. Please note that weekend services require a minimum of 4 weeks of advanced notice and additional coordination. Please schedule a consultation as described above to discuss further.

*All Services require a Success Program or other Services Agreement

**Installation and upgrade services must deliver a supported Jama Connect environment, and the environment must meet Jama Connect’s supported software requirements.
