Jama Software,\u00a0a leading\u00a0product-development platform for companies building complex products and integrated systems,\u00a0today\u00a0announced it has acquired Notion.\u00a0Notion\u00a0is a software-as-a-service analytics provider with reporting and business intelligence dashboards for metrics-focused product teams.\u00a0The acquisition, which closed this week,\u00a0will accelerate Jama\u2019s\u00a0roadmap\u00a0to deliver strategic insights from the product development process\u00a0to customers.<\/p>\n

Notion\u2019s\u00a0current product offers out-of-the box integration with the leading tools modern product development teams use, such as Jira, GitHub, Slack and Pivotal Tracker. Going forward, Jama will integrate its data \u2013 as well as data from other popular product lifecycle management, application lifecycle management and customer service sources \u2013 into\u00a0Notion\u2019s\u00a0cloud analytics platform\u00a0and offer it as a part of Jama\u2019s overall product-development platform.<\/p>\n

Notion\u00a0was founded in 2015 in Portland, Oregon by Dave Shanley and Kevin Steigerwald. Shanley will report directly to Roth, with\u00a0Notion\u2019s\u00a0entire team joining Jama. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.<\/p>\n
