Today, Jama Software announced strong revenue results for the first half of its fiscal year. With an increase in year-over-year subscription revenue of 90% and over 100 new and expansion customer wins, the company enters the second half of its fiscal year positioned for continued growth.<\/p>\n

“Nearly every company on the planet is racing to build software and connectivity into their products,\u201d said Scott Roth, CEO at Jama Software. \u201cOur business acceleration in the first half of this year reflects the need for product development teams to have a flexible and comprehensive software platform to manage an increasingly complex process. We\u2019re excited to help even more companies innovate faster and drive further acceleration for Jama in the market.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jama demonstrated strong growth in key verticals: aerospace and defense, medical device, automotive, semiconductor and consumer electronics. Notable customer wins include Alere, Levant Power, Lucid Motors, Spaceflight Industries, Honeybee Robotics, Gogo and Quanergy Systems. Many Jama customers are subject to regulation and compliance standards, which the company has responded to by achieving ISO 26262 \u201cfit for purpose\u201d certification and introducing the Jama Functional Safety Validation Toolkit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“As our business has grown, so has the complexity of our work. We chose Jama to help us manage our product development process and ensure that we deliver the world\u2019s most advanced\u00a0robotic systems,\u201d said Kiel Davis, president of Honeybee Robotics \u201cStaying aligned and managing complexity are our top priorities and are critical to us being a leader in our category.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jama has announced a steady cadence of product updates and partnerships since the beginning of its fiscal year in May. The company released its REST API for general availability and a major update to its flagship product, Jama 8, which introduced real-time traceability features and the option to deploy Jama\u2019s hosted experience behind a firewall with a container-based delivery model. Earlier this year Jama launched its Partner Alliance Program<\/a>, which expands availability of the Jama solution and extends the capabilities of the platform to better meet customer needs.
