Important Upgrade Note: If you are using Jama on-premises 8.12 – 8.14, please update to 8.14.1 or later before taking this update to ensure API compatibility.

Upgrade Steps:

Upgrading an existing installation of the Jama Integration Hub (JIH) is simple and requires very minimal manual intervention. The upgraded version of Tasktop Sync will have access to all your existing repositories, queries and configurations.

  1. Stop JIH and close the application.
  2. Uninstall the existing JIH version using the Uninstall option in the start menu. Note: It is important that JIH is not running before you attempt an uninstall.
  3. Install the new version of JIH.

Note: If you installed as a service, and the service is set up to run under a specific account, ensure that the account name and password are available to be entered again after upgrading to a new version.
