The status quo will tell you that 60-80% of all product development projects fail and that billions go to waste every year because of it. We're out to change that. Jama's mission is to help companies build great products by enabling them to take a more collaborative, team-based approach to requirements management.
Founded by a team of experienced software professionals frustrated with traditional enterprise tools, Jama has created a powerful Web-based application called Contour that's used by thousands every day to manage complex development projects. The path from great ideas to great products goes through requirements management, and Jama is dedicated to helping its customers successfully navigate that path.
Jama is a privately held company that was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Jama has partners in Europe and serves customers around the globe. In addition to its founders, Jama is funded by the Oregon Angel Fund, the Bend Venture Fund, and the Bellingham Angel Group.
