For Talmage Wesley, the lead project manager (PM), a requirements management solution is a necessity because his team, though small, is held accountable. The PM team at A.J. Antunes typically manages 20 simultaneous projects that span eight weeks to one year. Many projects must track to specific manufacturing guidelines. With the Review Center in Jama, the PMs at A.J. Antunes have a fast way to review requirements and get buy-in with stakeholders. Now a member of the project team can invite other team members and stakeholders to review and a specific set of requirements and provide feedback in-line. Participants in the review join in the discussion, propose edits, flag issues and approve the requirements for an official record of the agreed-upon scope.
Recreating existing requirements over and over again is inefficient. Sharing a repository of standard requirements, foodservice manufacturing guidelines and all of the related use cases or other items has been incredibly invaluable to the team at A.J. Antunes.
Talmage and his team can easily understand the ripple effect of a change and understand the impact a change has on other requirements. With Traceability, they track the relationships between requirements, use cases, test cases, defects and other related items.
