Jama Software, a product delivery company evolving the way organizations conceive, build and deliver products to market, today announces the appointment of Susy Dunn as Vice President of People. Dunn will help Jama grow and scale, recruiting and retaining the team that will move the company into its next phase. As a member of Jama’s executive team, she will be part of developing and ensuring employee alignment to the company’s overall strategy.
Dunn is an accomplished people-focused leader with more than 15 years of experience in various business and human resources leadership roles. Prior to joining Jama she developed employment strategies that drove growth at Jive Software and InFocus. Her past contributions to rapidly growing companies make her an ideal fit for Jama now and in the company’s next stages of growth.
“I’ve been very invested in the Portland community and what led me to Jama was their commitment to becoming an industry leader in product delivery as well as a thriving part of the Portland business community,” says Dunn. “Much of the work I have done in my career has centered around helping people and teams solve complex problems, which aligns with Jama’s core mission. Coming in at this stage in the evolution of the company is an opportunity to have a great impact on the people and culture as we grow and scale. When I met the team, I was immediately inspired and knew it would be a fit.”
Jama CEO Eric Winquist says, “With Jama’s rapid growth, we want to ensure we retain the important parts of Jama’s culture and at the same time be open to change, learning and growth. I’m excited to add a senior leader focused on building a world-class organization. Susy’s background in growing companies with an emphasis on people and culture makes her an ideal fit for Jama.”
