Similar to the latest versions of Web browsers, Contour uses Tabs that open along the top of the application to allows several Items to be open at once and easily work across Items, which can be a time saver.

By default, at login, the Welcome tab appears with educational content about Contour and the Dashboard tab that provides a snapshot of the latest activity of the Project last worked on.

Select your first Item to view or edit, and see it open in a new tab.  When selecting another Item, Contour assumes that it's done with the first Item and will open the subsequent Item in the same tab.

To open an Item in a separate tab, use the right click function and select the Open in New Tab option.
