There are two ways to review the latest activities within Contour. All projects will have a Dashboard tab in the main detail area of Contour that contains the Recent Activities panel. This panel displays newly created, edited or commented Items for the entire project. You can click on an Item to open the Item in a new tab. If you have been working in Contour for a while be sure to hit the refresh button available in the top right corner.

The second option shows activities at the Item level located within an Activities tab located in an Item's detail tab. The availability of this tab is an option configured by your Administrator when they create the Item Type.
Information Tracking in Contour
Contour will keep track of a wide variety of information as you utilize the system. If you are looking for specific information or additional details regarding information stored in Contour contact support@jamasoftware.com.
| • | Activities - Any activity revolving around an Item is logged in Contour. Adding, editing, deleting, commenting, using widgets, or using any of the tools such as searches, filters, releases, baselines, email notifications, and the review center actions. Most of these activities can be seen in the Activity windows throughout the system in Contour. Otherwise, these activities are logged in the Apache Tomcat contour.log file or the Contour database. |
| • | Database History - In most cases, Contour does not delete anything from the system (the database). Even if a User deletes another user, an Item, or something else in the system, Contour maintains a record for most of everything and simply deactivates it from the front end. Note: Delete Project permanently deletes the selected project and everything under it from the database. |
| • | User Session Information - Contour keeps track of users who attempt to login, the status of their attempt to login, and the status of their attempt to logout. This information is currently stored in the database of Contour. To see information regarding users who are currently logged in, trends of user authentication, and/or license type usage please contact support@jamasoftware.com to request a User Session Report. |
| • | Deleted Item - As of Contour 3.3, deleted items will now show up in the activity stream. Only project managers are allowed to see this activity. This activity is shown as "Deleted Item [item name]". Deleted items cannot be recovered without direct database manipulation. Please contact support@jamasoftware.com for assistance with recovering deleted items. |
