Selenium must be integrated with Contour

With your Test Items setup, you are ready to run a test in Contour, and have it automatically logged in the Test Results tab of your Test Item.

Running an Automated Test

1. From the selected test Item, click on the Selenium tab at the bottom of the pane.

2. Select the appropriate Target Application Base Url for your test.

3. Select the Test Runner that is located on the same server as the application you are testing.

4. Click the Run Auto Test button.

 

Selenium will load in another window and the test will be run. After it has completed, Contour automatically loads the test result into the test Item’s Test Result tab.
