There are three ways to include images into the editor. Note: A maximum height and width setting can be applied in the System's settings.
Upload Image into Editor

| 1. | Place your cursor in the location you want the image to be inserted. |
| 2. | Click on the image icon (mountain scene) from the editor's toolbar. |
| 3. | Select the 'Upload' tab to grab a file not available on the Contour server. |
| 4. | Browse for a file, select it and then click the 'Send it to the Server' button. |
| 5. | After the image is uploaded the Image Info tab will be shown with a preview and the URL to the image on the server. |
| 6. | Make any adjustments and click OK. |
Note: To enable images to be included by the reporting system including 3rd party converters to PDF and Word, we are required to provide the full path to the image file. If you move Contour to a new server location or modify the server name, you’ll need to edit your image files to reference the name change. We are working on a solution that allows relative paths.
Upload an Image using Copy and Paste
| 1. | Copy an image, graph, or chart. |
| 2. | Click on the image icon (mountain scene) from the editor's toolbar. |
| 3. | Select the Paste Image button. |
| 4. | If used for the first time, Java will request access to your computer (used to grab the image from the clipboard). Accept. |
| 5. | Select the 'Upload' button. After the image is uploaded the Image Info tab will be shown with a preview and the URL to the image on the server. |
| 6. | Make any adjustments and click OK. Please refer to any Notes mentioned above when uploading an image normally. |
Upload an Image URL
| 1. | Using your web browser Navigate to the image you’d like to include. |
| 2. | Right click on the image and select the Copy Link Location option. |
| 3. | Within Contour, open the editor. |
| 4. | Click on the image icon (mountain scene). |
| 5. | Paste the link location into the URL of the image. |
| 6. | Click Save and the image will be displayed within Contour. |
