Any Item within Contour can be copied within the current Project or a different Project.
| 1. | Select the Item to be copied. |
| 2. | Either select Duplicate Item from the Item's Actions menu or from the Item's right-click menu. |

| 3. | From the Duplicate Item's pop-up window, decide which options you want to copy along with the Item details. |
| • | Duplicate relationships from the original item: This option will copy all current relationships. For example if you have an item 'B' that is related to item 'A' and item 'C' both upstream and downstream (A -->B -->C). If you copied 'B' and it's relationships you would end up with a new item 'D' that looked like this - (A-->D-->C) |
| • | Duplicate tags from the original item: This option will copy all of the tags. Going forward any tags that are added or removed on one item will not affect the other. |
| • | Create a new Relationship to the Selected Item: This option will create a relationship to the original item. |
| • | Duplicate all sub-items, if any: This option will duplicate the selected item along with all of its sub-items. |
| 4. | Select the destination of where you want the copied Item to go within the applicable Project, Component, Set, and Folder. |
Note: You can only duplicate Items to Sets of the same Item Type. For example, if you have two requirement Sets in a Project created from the same Item Type then you can duplicate and move Items between these Sets. Sub-items can also only have the same Item Type as their parent.
