A great way to reuse requirements or start a new project from a template is to use the duplicate project feature.

Options available on the Settings Tab
New Project Name |
Enter in you new Project's name. By default, "Duplicate of" the target Project will be used. |
New Project Key |
The unique key identifier of a Project. |
Project Settings |
All of the detail on the Details and Settings tab of the Project Settings dialog will be copied into the new project. |
Project Permissions |
Permissions configured on the target project will be configured for groups and users. |
Existing Relationships |
All relationships that were established in the target project will be copied such that the new copied Items will have the same relationships. |
Shared Filters |
All Filters marked as public (*) will be included in the new project. |
Tags |
All Tags will be copied and attached to the appropriate newly copied Items. |
Releases |
All of the releases and supporting information that was configured in the target project. |
Project Groups |
Project Groups that were developed for security and email notifications. |
Create Relationships |
Option to create new relationships between the original Items and the copies being created in the new project. |
Downstream |
The copied Items relationship will be downstream of the original Items. |
Upstream |
The copied Items relationship will be upstream of the original Items. |
Relationship Type |
The relationship type to be applied to the new relationships between the copied Items and original Items. |
