Add an Item

Now that you know where you are, let's create an Item that you can use as you explore Contour's features.

1.Browse into the Explorer, select the Requirements Set and Add a new Item.
2.Give your Item a name, description and set the status = Draft.
3.Click on Save and Close then Commit the new Item.
4.In the Explorer tab, open up the requirement's Set to find your new Item.
5.Drag the Item within the Set to a new spot.  If there are Folders available, try moving your new Item into one.

After completing the Quick Start you might want to try importing Items from Word or Excel.
