At Jama, we’re committed to helping others succeed as we grow. We believe in giving back and supporting good causes. One of the newest members to the Jama family, Mason Davis, has organized a fundraiser to support local youth soccer programs because he cares about our community. Read the full press release here:

Joey Webber [the Portland Timbers Mascot] is hosting a Christmas tree lot on the corner of Interstate & Mississippi (2410 N. Mississippi) that is raising money for the Portland Timbers Community Fund and the 107ist. The funds raised will support their efforts to revitalize youth soccer fields in the Portland community. To drive attendees, Papa Murphy’s will serve complimentary pizza this Saturday, December 3rd alongside free beverages from Widmer Bros. Brewing.

Families will enjoy knot tying lessons from legendary Timber Jim and axe throwing demonstrations. Entertainment will include live music and one-of-a-kind ornaments made from fresh cut timber rounds emblazoned with a hot branded silhouette of Joey’s axe.

“Growing up in a small logging town we didn’t have access to the facilities like we’re helping to build” said Joey, “so it feels good to do something where we can engage our fans and raise awareness and money for a worthy cause…Beyond that, we’re excited about extending the commemorative tree buying experience at our lot this holiday season.”

Last year the Portland Timbers community fund and the 107ist helped to restore a number of soccer fields in the Portland area. Joey and crew hope to increase their efforts next year with a portion of proceeds from their Christmas tree lot.

The tree lot is made possible from sponsors, volunteers and local tree farmers. For further questions please contact Mason Davis at 503-936-5178 or masonpatrickdavis@gmail.com.
