Just released: State of Requirements Management Survey 2011

Emily Down | November 17, 2010

This morning we launched the State of Requirements Management Survey 2011, an industry study of software and product development.

We want to know the challenges and barriers to success in software product development. Where are companies finding their next great product ideas? What’s on the software wish list for 2011? Together with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Managers — or anyone involved in the product or software development process — we want to cut through the hype and find the real trends, challenges and successes within our industry.

In 2008, we conducted the inaugural State of Requirements Management study, and discovered the risks, processes and tools teams were using. When you participate in this year’s survey, you’ll be the first to get the 2011 Report (released in early January 2011). We respect your privacy, so all responses will remain anonymous.

Just for fun, we’ll be randomly selecting survey participants to receive a gift card from iTunes, Starbucks or Barnes & Noble (your choice!) as a thank you for participating. To participate in the drawing, a valid email is required. If you have any questions about the State of Requirements Management, please email Emily Down at edown@jamasoftware.com.

Please submit your response by Friday, December 10th.
